    Hey Paul, so I have decided to restart the program on account of two reasons. The first time around I didn’t do the introductory exercises along with the intermediate ones. Also I think I could have pushed myself a little bit more. Do you think those problems could have resulted in me not growing?

      Not sure. Check using these questions:

      1. How many hours of uninterrupted sleep do you get per night?
      2. Do you take the HGH cocktail within 30 mins after exercise?
      3. Do you make the HGH cocktail with the correct ingredients, measurement and using a blender?
      4. Do you do the exercises in morning and evening?
      5. Do you do the exercises till you can’t do them anymore?
      6. Do you follow the diet plan as laid out?
      7. Are you sleeping without a pillow and on your back?
      8. Is your mattress supportive enough that it doesn’t sink when you lie down on it?
      9. Did you take any days or weeks off the program?
      10. Did you continue with the introductory exercises on top of the intermediate and advanced ones?

    Hey Paul, I got the program and will keep you updated. Is it alright to eat snacks or additional food in between the meal times; or do i have to eat nothing else but the stuff on the chart? I follow the diet plan, but get pretty hungry in between meal times; and the program said not to hunger yourself, so I’ve been eating snacks whenever i feel hungry for my first 2 days. Will the things i eat interfere with the diet plan and perhaps cause negative results? Thanks!

      Yes you can as long as the snacks you eat does not make you eat less of the food in the chart, then it should be fine. It would be better if the snack is nutritious.

    I just brought the product, and have couple of questions:
    1. in my country, I couldn’t find broad beans. So can I use instead green peas (English is not my first language, so can you tell me if green peas is the same as the green beans?)
    2. if I buy L-dopa supplements, what’s the dose that I have to use in the cocktail?

      1. you can use green beans

      Green beans are the immature green pod of the kidney bean, eaten as a vegetable.

      Peas are the round, edible seed of a widely cultivated plant, Pisum sativum, of the legume family.

      2. The book does not specify the dosage for the l-dopa supplement. Its best not to substitute the broad beans using l-dopa. You can have the supplement in addition to the cocktail if wished.

      This program is not Dr. Ayurveda. I had a quick search online on that product and it claims you just take it as a supplement and expect growth without doing anything else. Looks like its designed to lure people who wants a quick fix, like a diet pill. Take this pill and lose weight without considering other things.

      Grow Taller 4 Idiots is not a supplement, its a overall program involving nutrition and exercises. It does require dedication. Have a look at the feedback in the comments and decide for yourself.

      What I know is that Darwin says its best to have it preferably raw. Though if the shell is too hard, you need to simmer them soft for peeling anyway.

          The broad beans should be deshelled. And its 43 grams deshelled broad beans. You may have the older version of the book. The latest book ingredient amounts is enough for 1-2 time supply.

    Thank you so much..i am 42 yrs old.i was 5 foot 1..now I am 5 foot 4..in 3 months.i will keep up the program. for few more months..i knew something was wrong with my height.when everybody in my family was tall.my mom is 5 foot 9.my sister 5 foot 7.my brothers and dad 5 foot 11..my mom said,she was pg with me.she ate less, she was very busy at the time..i do wish I could done this a long time ago.but I am happy that I finally got taller…

      Its usually after 6th week that you see growth.

      Yes, you need to continue the introductory exercises throughout the entire program. So do the introductory exercises with the advanced exercises.

        Today marks the 6th week of the program and no growth yet… Feeling kinda disappointed.

        1. How many hours of uninterrupted sleep do you get per night? 7+ hours? As i tend to wake up to use the toilet.
        2. Do you take the HGH cocktail within 30 mins after exercise? Yes
        3. Do you make the HGH cocktail with the correct ingredients, measurement and using a blender? Yes
        4. Do you do the exercises in morning and evening? Yes
        5. Do you do the exercises till you can’t do them anymore? Not really as the book says dont over do any of the exercises.
        6. Do you follow the diet plan as laid out? Yes
        7. Are you sleeping without a pillow and on your back? Yes
        8. Is your mattress supportive enough that it doesn’t sink when you lie down on it? It is supportive
        9. Did you take any days or weeks off the program? Only one day during the focus stretching. But i redo an additional day for the day that i missed.
        10. Did you continue with the introductory exercises on top of the intermediate and advanced ones? Yes for doing the introductory exercise with the intermediate. No for advanced exercise as the book didnt say anything about doing both introductory and advance exercise together. Thanks in advance.

          You should be getting 8+ hours sleep per night and also you need to do the introductory exercise with the advanced ones.

    Hey Paul,

    Can I follow the video instead of the ebook to save time as the reps of the exercises demonstrated in the video is lesser than that in the ebook.

    I usually take 30 minutes or more to complete the focus stretching routine (week 2-4) with the introductory stretches and feel sore on my neck (on most exercises; am i straining my neck accidentally?) and spine is this normal?

    Also, I do the exercises to failure to push myself if I can’t perform that many reps/hold for a longer period of time as laid out in the book. Is this alright?

      You need to do the reps until you can’t do anymore.

      Feeling sore is fine.

      Yes, its ok to push yourself to the point you can’t do anymore even if its is less than in the book. However, you need to keep upping your time and reps when you can. Its similar to a weight lifter slowly increasing his weights over time, so that over days and weeks he will be able to lift more than he originally did.

    Hi Paul, I’m week 8 in the program.

    However, i merely grew approximately 1cm only. As mentioned previously, i stick to the program exactly to the ebook except that I usually sleep late (around 1-2am). I understand that will reduce the effectiveness as more growth hormones will release during the early part of the night.

    Do I still get the chance to grow to my potential 3inches if I keep doing it? Or there’s no chance to grow as I have missed the crucial first 8 weeks of the program?

    Justo hoy terminé mi tercer semana con el programa, he hechos todos los ejercicios 20 minutos en la mañana y 20 más por la noche , he tomado el cocktail todos los días, y he seguido el plan de nutrición , aún no veo resultados aunque si espero que los vaya a conseguir en un par de semanas, tengo algunas preguntas como ¿qué tanto me perjudica hacer ejercicios con pesas, además de realizar los ejercicios en el libro? Y me duermo sin almohada y de espalda, pero amanezco en otra posición , ¿qué tanto perjudica esto? La última … ¿Qué tanto pronto puedo esperar ver resultados?

    What does doing the exercises till u can’t do anymore means?

    For example, for advance exercises 1st exercise, if I were to keep doing it till I can’t literally, it might take half an hour +. Which exercises should I be more focused on? And for exercise 9, do I hold the position longer for best effect? (30secs suffice?)

      If the 1st exercise is so easy that you could do for more than half hour, you can try increasing the time on other exercises instead.

      As for exercise 9, it is to be able to eventually touch your feet to the ground. So if you hold it longer, you will build that flexibility but don’t strain yourself.

    Hi Paul! I’m on week five and although i have not grown yet, my flexibility has greatly improved. Before i was about 5 inches away from touching the floor when i attempt to touch my toes without bending my knees, and now i can touch the floor with my fists!       Feeling pain is fine. After your neck becomes more flexible, the pain will go away.

      What I know is broad/fava beans is the number one choice to use for the HGH cocktail. Saeed grew using green beans.

      It is not unusual to feel tension as you begin these exercises. However if its too uncomfortable, you gradually stretch it to the max over days.

    Hey Paul,
    I have a few questions regarding the 10th exercise.
    1. How long is the duration of this exercise? How many times should we do it?
    2. Is the swinging part extremely necessary? I can hang on the pull-up bar that is attached to my door, but I won’t have any room to swing because the door cannot be opened when the pull up is attached.
    3. Is there an alternative to the swinging part or an alternative to using a pull up bar?

    Thank You. I’m just about to start my advanced exercises, and would hate to not get results because of this issue.

      1. Can you let me know which exercise that is? Advanced? Is it the swinging exercise? You are supposed to do it till your hands are tired.
      2. Yes it is necessary. You may need a doorway pull up bar that can expand between the doorway or corridor.

      3. Not that I know of.

    Can I use turkey bacon instead of regular bacon? What do you mean by various kinds of nuts in the diet? Am I allowed to eat other snacks while on the diet or not?

      The idea is to vary your meats. So as long as you vary your meats, it should be fine.

      Yes you can eat other snacks, as long as it does not interfere with your diet. Also avoid too much sugar. Sugary foods have less nutrition.

    Hey Paul.
    I am in my first week. It is 6th day today.
    I feel pain in my spine and left shoulder (specially spine) after workout, and also when I stretch my body many hours after the training. Is this a sign of that I am doing it right?
    And what do you mean by “push until you can’t do more”? Do you mean we should do until we can’t do that “drill” more or that we can’t train more? I hope you got what I wanted to explain. :P
    I also feel pain in my neck right after I wake up. is it because I sleep without a pillow?
    And I am not used to sleep without a pillow, because of that I wake up 2-3 times. Is it alright if I sleep again within 10 minuttes?
    And last question. Because of University I can’t sleep 8+ hours, but maximum 7-8. Wil it be alright if I sleep 7-8 hours Monday to thursday and 8+ Friday to Sunday? What do you think?

      Sorry, not actually pain, but “stiff”. And can some friends, who have expirience with this program, tell me how it was? I mean was it just to sleep, eat and exercize or was it something more? I want to be atleast 3 inch taller, so can some one tell me what I have to do in addition to stretching, sleeping, eating and cycling/swimming?

        You need to do as the book says. Also remember to continue the introductory exercises even in the advanced stage of the program (which the book does not mention)

      Yes you will feel some pain/stiffness after exercises.

      Do till you can’t do that drill more.

      Yes you may feel pain right after wake up, but it should go away after you get used to sleeping on your back.

      Best is to sleep without interruption. The faster you get back to sleep, the better.

      8+ hours is required, as described in the book. That will provide the body with the best chance to grow.

    Hey ,also, the book never actually mentions food you shouldn’t eat.
    Im assuming this is junk foods like candy, chips, soda, etc.
    Does eating foods like this completely ruin my chances of growth even if I follow the diet plan?

      Yes avoid junk food, sugary drinks and sugary snack if you can.

      Consuming sugar (especially fructose) within 2 hours post workout will cause your hypothalamus to release somatostatin, which will decrease your production of HGH.

    I am on the end of my second week of the exercises. I feel pain on my shoulders which prevents me from stretching my hardest. Is it okay if I don’t do the exercises for two days until the pain reduces?

      You can do the exercises that does not affect the the shoulder area. You’ll need to extend the days of doing the introductory exercises when stopping. Best not to stop.

    So I recently just bought a firm mattress for this program and I still cant sleep on my back without a pillow. It so hard for me that I literally get no sleep and I go back to my pillow and sleeping on the side because I’m desperate for sleep. I don’t know how everybody else did it but I am really struggling really hard. I tried everything to turning my head, bending my arms but still keeping my torso and legs straight but it still is super uncomfortable to me

    I hope you remember me. :P
    I am in the fourth week, and will start the advanced training next week. I am tired, my body can hardly do more, but I am motivated, and will DO IT!
    I feel pain in my shoulders, neck and back when I stretch, so am I doing it right or wrong? I have not grown yet. :( I am following the diet plan 85-90%, the only mistake is I can’t eat liver and kidney, so I am eating fish and chicken two days in a week.
    I train two times and take HGH cocktail within 30 minutes.
    I am sleeping without pillow, straight and on a good mattress.
    The only mistake here, which is a BIG one, is sleeping time. I sleep 8+ hours 4 times in a week and 7 hours 3 times in a week. It is because of school, but from next week, I can sleep 8+ hours 5-6 days in a week, so it will work out.
    My question is when I have free from training (advanced training), do I have free from Introductory training also?
    And am I doing it right if you don’t count sleeping time?

        Hmmmm…
        When I will do the advanced training then I will train 5 days and have rest 2 days. This is what writer wrote in the book.
        You said we should do introductiry training WITH advanced training, to get good results.
        So my question was when I will rest 2 days, then I will not perform advanced training, I know that, but what about introductiry training? Do I have rest from both trainings (advanced and introductory) or rest from just advanced training and should perform introductory training?
        I have tried to explain good as I can. I hope you will understand it.

    Hi! How do I eat the fava beans? Is it ok to eat it raw? Wouldn’t that be dangerous because you can get this blood disease? If so, How can I cook it? Boiled or steam? Do I take out the peel? And should the cabbage and tomato be raw?

      You’ll need to deshell it. If the the shell is too hard to deshell, then you may want to simmer it to soften it.

      Its supposed to put into the cocktail with the other ingredients.

    Thank you for the great review. While I personally don’t need to increase my height, I wouldn’t mind adding an inch or two tops. I’m 28 and 6’1 barefoot. 6’2 would be my ideal height. I’m thinking that my goal is realistic should I decide to try out this program.
